Hooray for AmEx! A few months ago, I mailed my iPod to Apple for repairs, but they returned it to me saying that the freezing, then the heating up of the hard drive was within normal operating expectations. When it started happening again, I took it to the Apple Store and got a brand new unit (40GB w/ClickWheel) in 3 days. Note to self: try the Apple Store first.

mine's totally dead now unless plugged in. if the cigarette adapter the in car comes loose for just a second, it dies.
time to get a new battery, i guess. but what i really want is one of those fancy black video playing deals, but that'll have to wait.

Someone thought it'd be cute if they didn't hide the "new" iPod posters outside of the theatre. Honestly, Apple. This isn't the first time.
I'm excited. Too bad it isn't webcast (yet, that I can tell).
