My children are grown and a few years ago, we decided we no longer wanted to do the gift thing. If we want something we get it. We are too particular to have someone else get what we want because they don't know all the features we would buy or would not buy for that matter. I like to have a Christmas free from stress. Today I made the cookies the kids liked when they were kids. They have fond memories of food apparently. Those cookies are my gift to them and they will remember those cookies when I am no longer with them in body.
